Dialogue

Chestnut, h 220 x 80 cm approximately

My sculpture was born thinking about the concepts of dialogue, discourse, exchange, conversation, and interaction.

The idea is conceived as geometry, as a multifaceted form, a bench sculpture that is connected with the surrounding environment. It facilitates dialogue or meditation of those who use it. It can also be understood as an inner exchange between faces and surfaces, but above all, a dialogue occurs between subject and background, geometric form and landscape.

This work attempts to express contrast, movement, evolution, development, and existence. In all its imperfections, adaptations, attempts and errors, the intention is to achieve balance.

Finished with transparent/coloured impregnating agent (depending on the surface area)
